Yes, our apartment building in Schladming is wheelchair accessible. The building has an entrance ramp and an elevator, providing easy access to all four apartments. This makes our building well-suited for guests with limited mobility, families with strollers, or anyone traveling with a lot of luggage.

Yes, for your skiing or biking holiday in Schladming, a convenient ski depot and bike storage area are available. Our ski depot is located below the Platzhirschalm, just a few steps from the Charly Kahr Apartments.
In winter, heated storage lockers ensure that your ski equipment, snowboards, and ski boots dry overnight and are pleasantly warm and ready for use the next day on the slopes. We kindly ask you to leave your ski boots in the ski storage area and not to enter the apartments with them.
In summer, the ski depot transforms into a secure bike storage area. It is open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Good to know: A bike wash station is located directly in front of the building.

Yes, a private parking space is available for guests of the Charly Kahr Apartments. It is located in the courtyard behind the Platzhirschalm. Access is via the green gate. The parking space number corresponds to the one on the blue button you use to open the gate. The gate then closes automatically.

Check-in is possible from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on the day of arrival.
Check-out takes place on the day of departure no later than 10:00 am.

Our apartments in Schladming are extensively equipped and offer everything you need for a comfortable holiday in the Schladming-Dachstein region.
The standard amenities include coffee beans for the De'Longhi coffee machine, a toaster, an egg cooker, knives (including a paring knife and bread knife), pots, pans, oven mitts, dishes, dish soap for handwashing and dishwasher use, a dish towel, and cleaning cloths. An oven, a microwave, a vacuum cleaner, and a broom are also provided. Bed linens and towels are, of course, included in the apartment. For stays of five nights or more, an extra set of towels for a change is also included. The laundry basket is located outside the laundry room. Free Wi-Fi, an elevator in the building, and sustainable toiletries in the bathrooms provide added comfort. Each unit also has its own infrared sauna. A crib and highchair are available upon request for families.

The Charly Kahr Apartments are centrally located in Schladming and are easily accessible even without a car.
Schladming train station is about a 15-minute walk from the apartments. Direct connections from Munich and Vienna ensure a relaxing train journey. Please refer to Deutsche Bahn and ÖBB for details.
If you are arriving by plane, there are several airports to choose from:
Salzburg Airport (SZG): Approximately 90 km away; the journey takes approximately 1 hour.
Graz Airport (GRZ): Approximately 160 km away; travel time is approximately 2 hours.
Linz Airport (LNZ): Approximately 160 km away; the journey takes approximately 2 hours.
Munich Airport (MUC): Approximately 260 km away; the journey takes approximately 3 hours.
From these airports there are various transfer options to Schladming, including train connections and airport transfers.

Unfortunately, something can always come up, and in that case, the following rules apply at Charly Kahr Family: 

During the off-season (mid-March – June, September – November)
Free cancellation possible up to 30 days before the arrival date.
40% of the package price is due 29-21 days before the arrival date.
For cancellations 20-11 days before the arrival date, we charge 70% of the package price.
For cancellations 10 to 1 day before arrival, 90% of the arrangement price will be charged.

During peak season (July – August, December – mid-March)
up to 3 months before arrival: free cancellation possible
Up to 1 month before the arrival date, 40 % of the arrangement price is due
up to 1 week before the arrival date we charge 70 % of the arrangement price
In the last week before arrival we charge 90 % of the arrangement price

We recommend a Trip cancellation insurance. 

Our garbage container is located behind the building. We attach great importance to environmentally friendly disposal and therefore ask you to carefully separate your waste. Paper, plastic, glass, organic waste, and residual waste are collected separately. Thank you for your help!

Yes, each apartment is equipped with a safe. Instructions for use can be found inside the safe.

Apartment Franz features air conditioning and soundproof windows in the bedroom. Apartments 2, 3, and 4 also have a cooling air conditioner. This ensures you can enjoy pleasant temperatures in your apartment in Schladming even in summer.

The Hopl Ski School is located directly in Planet Planai, making it ideally situated for your ski holiday in Schladming. The registration office is easily and quickly accessible from the Charly Kahr Apartments. This ensures that children, beginners, and advanced skiers can conveniently start their ski or snowboard lessons on the Planai.

The nearest hospital is Klinik Diakonissen Schladming GmbH. It is located at Salzburger Straße 777, 8970 Schladming. For medical emergencies or health concerns, you can reach the clinic at +43 3687 2020-0.

The lifts at Planet Planai operate daily from 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in both summer and winter.
Please note that different times may apply during the off-season.
The nearby Billa supermarket is open Monday to Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
The Schladming adventure pool is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for relaxation and fun.
The local pharmacy is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. On Saturdays, it is open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Yes, spare towels are provided in your apartment. At the same time, we are mindful of the environment and would appreciate it if you reused your towels.
