Our house with four apartments is located in the center of Schladming, just 50 meters from the Planai gondola and is the ideal starting point for active days in the mountains. Here you will be staying where skiing history was made: Our father, legendary ski coach Charly Kahr, inspired generations. His spirit lives on today in every detail. Personally managed by me, my daughter Daniela, and her family, four stylish holiday apartments await you with alpine charm and modern comforts.

Four holiday apartments ranging from 55–100 m², accommodating 2 to 6 people, offer everything you need for a relaxing stay: a fully equipped kitchen, infrared cabin, balcony or terrace, Wi-Fi, ski storage, and parking. Supermarkets, restaurants, and shops are within walking distance – as is the in-house sports shop "Bründl-Charly Kahr" for top-quality equipment.

Charly Kahr
Our father, "Downhill-Charly" Karl Kahr (1932–2024), was an Austrian ski racer, passionate alpine ski coach, and head coach of the Austrian downhill team from 1976 to 1985. During this time, he helped shape a golden era of skiing – with his consistency, charm, and an unerring sense of talent and timing. Under his leadership, greats such as Franz Klammer, Harti Weirather, Heli Höflehner, Hans Enn, and others celebrated great successes, and his name became synonymous with courage, precision, and team spirit in downhill skiing.
Even after his active time as a skier, he remained a visionary and creative thinker. With great commitment and passion, he helped establish the Schladming-Dachstein golf course: a place of encounter, connection to nature, and joie de vivre that still embodies his spirit today. But beyond his sporting achievements, Charly Kahr was above all one thing: a person with heart, attitude, and humor. For many, he was a mentor, a motivator, and a friend. For us, he was a dad, a grandpa, and a man of our hearts—a rock in the storm, full of warmth, wisdom, and quiet generosity.
