Current information about arrival and stay

The current entry requirements to Austria can be found here.

    • From the age of 12, proof of 2G is required. For school-age children, the fully completed "Ninja Pass" is valid (also at weekends). The Ninja Pass is considered equivalent to the 2G certificate. After completion of the ninth school year, young people must also have 2G proof in order to be allowed to enter 2G settings. During holidays (school-free period), children and adolescents for whom the Austrian Ninja Pass is also valid can provide proof of 2G by means of a valid negative PCR test.
    • For children who are not of school age in Austria, the following applies: If they can consistently prove negative tests (of which at least 2 tests are PCR tests) during a calendar week, then this replaces a 2G detection. Thus, there must not be a single day without a negative test result. Compulsory schooling in this sense means: nine school years, starting on 1 September following the completion of the sixth year of life.
