| For more than 30 years Charly Kahr, most legendary coach of the Austrian Alpine ski team, has run restaurant “Planaistub’n” and a ski rental and sports shop together with his family.
Planaistub’n - Charly’s Treff right across Planai ground station is a place to meet and - possibly - greet many a celebrity: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Franz Klammer, Bode Miller and many more famous names use to mingle with the locals…..
Charly’s sport shop with its very state-of-the-art ski rental next to Planai ground station- after rebuilding in 2003 -now features a vast selection of winter sports equipment together with both functional and stylish accessories.
